bonding with my new children

I know it is hard to think of me as a mother figure, why even I had a hard time with that idea. I never thought of anyone else besides myself before so I was confused when I met my new adopted from a sweatshop children. I am getting ahead of myself here...allow me to introduce my new children Dali & Phwang Fu
.

I didn't go to Peru for the purpose of adopting children. Looking for bargains, I went there to tour the infamous Kathi Lee Gifford sweatshops. The name of the town was Nike, named for the shoes the natives make for 17 cents and hour. As I sat in the dank confines of the sweatshop waiting for my custom made shoes I noticed two young kids making pests of themselves.
When I tried on my new Nikes I knew that I had to adopt these adorable creatures. You can't buy quality like that! I arranged to take them on my next flight out. At the last moment there was the usual red tape, after relinquishing two pairs of Levis and a blow dryer we were out of there. The children immediately took to me. I think they were grateful to be out of their oppressive Peruvian environment.
I didn't want to spaz my new kids out by spoiling them 'American style' so I set their cots up in the mini-shed, which made them smile. We still have the language barrier to deal with. The little one, Phwang keeps repeating the same phrase over and over "No puede ser una vulgar sirena" I think he must be saying "I love you new mommy!" He is a bright eyed little imp who is an expert at cooking. The kid knows 22 different recipes for rice alone.
Dali is the oldest boy and he fancies himself the man of the house. He is a master craftsman and tough as nails I tell you! The other day when I had him re-shingling the roof he didn't seem to mind the heat, and didn't even raise a fuss when I had him wash my car afterwards. I always remind him that even though he sometimes works 14 hours a day, things could be a lot worse. Some pictures can say a thousand words.

Oh I feel so fulfilled.
